nice article. it really is tragic when organizations think that numbers == credibility. luckily, i think people are catching on. that trick was so 2009.

thanks for the props @hairyegg -- i know you, @nearjones and i all had direct interaction with the particular individual in question, so it's nice to know there's a few more of "us" on the side vs. "them."

there definitely are some juicy things to be uncovered & i've found some of it, but i'm debating whether i want to use this blog to reveal them...seems like sinking down to the same level just to grab some traffic.
My recent post <a href="http:\/\/feedproxy.google.com\/~r\/Jazzs3quence\/~3\/_u70VS50-FY\/" target="_blank">teh s3quence 009: lilah’s mix</a>

A million hoorays for this article. Well done to all for being like the little boy in The Emperor's New Clothes.

Maybe something constrictive can be eaten out of this tale, which is the lesson that if something looks 'professional' and some expensive fonts have been bought and the like, people will be more inclined to believe that it is indeed somehow different to and better than the usual internet marketing cockshite.

There are probably other weird things, if not exactly war crimes, to be uncovered, but I certainly can't be bothered and it looks like they've been addressed elsewhere already.
