Aphex Twin’s first new released recordings of the past five years appear on Chosen Lords, a compilation of material from 2005’s Analord 12″ series. The music, a throwback to his early acid techno, benefits from the additional expertise he’s gained during his years of production. Far better than 2001’s Drukqs, Chosen Lords includes some of Aphex Twin’s best work since the mid-’90s.

i’ve got some of his analord eps i found mp3s of, but i don’t think i have all of them. will be nice to pick this up and have everything in one place…of course, the title “chosen lords” makes me think it’s just some of the analord stuff, not all….
